Example Training Systems
Training plans can take a variety of forms:
written/text, audio, pictorial, flowcharts, and video. I am biased to work
with laziness, not against it, so pictures, audio and video do the best job of
making things easy for the trainee. Here are some training examples.
A flowcharted system can be as simple as the
one below for checking the oil level in a car
or as complex as the second example for an oil refinery
Pictorial storyboards are easy to create and can be powerful. If you lay them out in Adobe PageMaker or Microsoft Publisher instead of Word, you can manipulate them easily down the road.Systems are always changing, so allow for it.
